How Can I Get Involved?

Adult Education Classes

Picture
Through-out the year we offer various classes that are designed to help us discover and deepen our faith as well as learn how to apply it in everyday situations. Classes have included Financial Freedom, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Marriage and Family, as well as various books of the Bible.

small Groups

Small Groups form throughout the year. Both women's and men's small groups, as well as groups formed around specific studies take place at various times. If you would like to get involved in a group connect with pastor Mike.

Youth ministry

At Hope Chapel we believe it is important for our teens to learn to apply the deep truths of scripture, develop the ability to think critically, and find fellowship with their peers and adult leaders. Our junior teens include 7-8th grade and senior teens include 9-12th grade. Both groups meet from 6:00-7:30 on Sunday nights from September to the end of April. June through August they meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 for bonfires, pool parties or other fun activities. Students entering 7th grade through 12th grade are invited.

Kids klub

Children k-6th are invited to join us Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm throughout the school year for games, crafts, teaching and snacks. Hope Chapel is intentional about investing in families and children. Our desire is to give our young friends a foundation through the truths of scripture and faith that will serve them throughout their lives. Our teachers have all received training and background checks. Come join us on this adventure!

Community Events

Hope Chapel strongly believes that we exist in part to serve the community of Perry and Wyoming County NY. We have four events that we focus on throughout the year in an effort to help our neighbors know we care about them, and more importantly that their Creator loves them.

Eggstraveganza - Each Easter we host a morning of crafts, games, food and huge Easter egg hunt at the Perry Central Elementary School. Children up to 6th grade are invited to participate.

Water Give Away - Each July the village of Perry holds its annual Chalk Art Festival. As an act of love, we give away hundreds of free water bottles to artists and festival goers.

Vacation Bible School - Hope Chapel offers an amazing VBS program for three evenings each summer. School aged kids are invited to join us as we use humor and science to convey biblical principals.

Trunk or Treat - Halloween can be a controversial holiday for those in the church. We have found that an alternative doesn't always work, so make efforts to meet folks where they already are. Trick or Treaters are invited to stop by and receive treats from our theme decorated vehicles while their parents can grab a cup of coffee and a bowl of hot chili or soup.
